Montessori Matters and E-Z Learning Materials was created by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, Cincinnati, Ohio in the 1960's to supply reasonably priced quality materials to the Montessori community. In 2001, the Sisters went into retirement and the company was sold with all materials, manuals and rights to Ann Villela who is the present owner.

All of the materials and manuals remain the same as those you have enjoyed in your classrooms for over 40 years! We strive to keep prices down while delivering these tried-and-true materials and manuals to you along with new items, which will be delightful additions to your classroom and curriculum.
